Woods

Woods used in our products are all locally milled from sustainable sources (e.g. walnut, cherry, ash, red oak, hard and soft maples, juniper, mulberry, cedar, hemlock), have been salvaged and repurposed (e.g. western cedar from deck construction, black oak flooring, fir beams), or found as driftwood on Bayfield's Lake Huron beach.

Kitchen Boards

All boards have non-slip feet to keep the board stable and raised above the counter.

Finishes

Natural Tung Oil provides a durable, long-lasting and safe finish to Mr. Woodchuck's products. This finish takes longer to dry and set properly but is well worth the wait.
